There was some hesitation on my part to write this article for the Georgia Heritage Council website. First, because it is a complex subject that requires some study and historical review. Secondly, as serious a problem as it is, it's not a subject or discussion that we hear much feedback from the several thousands of folks who have requested automatic notice of our commentaries.

We at GHC take pride in the fact that we have a group of very able writers who take on subjects that I believe puts us a peg or two up the website literary ladder.

Reviewing our archives you will see that GHC has often been in the forefront of developing information and humor that has been picked up and elucidated by others, sometimes leading to some dramatic impact.

With that in mind, I'm off on the same thread I've dedicated my thoughts to in recent years, Liberty Lost.

Most Americans are not aware that at this very moment, our national sovereignty is being replaced, largely in secret, by a North American Union (Mexico+USA+Canada).

It is all part of a history of events that has roots with the Trotskyites who originally brought their philosophies to the American scene as New Conservatives (neocons).

Those of us who expose them for who they really are smeared as anti-semitic as the original founders of this movement in America were Jewish. That just doesn't hold water as you look at those who have taken up the mantle of the neocons today. Far and away, most are not Jewish, they are indeed some of your leading office holders and some leaders of Christian churches.

The anti-semitic smear is part of the neocon defense system. The neocons have targeted Pat Buchanan as a major anti-semite enemy. They have a huge propaganda apparatus. I worked with Pat Buchanan in the Nixon days and I can tell you there is no one more patriotically conservative or religiously well balanced.

Neocons began infiltrating the Republican party during the days of the Reagan Revolution. Some of their philosophies, particularly in the foreign affairs arena seemed to fit nicely. They are for a strong national defense, stronger and more far reaching than our Founders ever envisioned. They believe that war means peace, sort of a throw back to Pax Romana.

They believe by spreading some form of Democracy throughout the world will transcend all nations in to a peaceful co-existence, never mind whose form of Democracy it is or that conquering by invasion and occupation is elementary to achieve their purposes. (Sound familiar? "We'll help you become like us.")

They claim Lincoln-like beliefs, starting with a big government and little or no regard for those parts of the Constitution unsuitable for their purposes. They don't deny it, they boast about it.

With great vision of the future, Orwell could have written their training manuals.

The power of the neocons in the current and past administrations has expanded their Trotsky beliefs into virtually every aspect of domestic policy. As an example, follow some of our reports on the North American Union where every step of daily life is planned to be coordinated in the name of cooperation with our neighbors to the North and South. Borders will disappear, law and jurisprudence will be subject to Trilateral Tribunals. The Constitution will be ignored, not to say that it isn't to a large extent now, thanks to the neocons.

As some of you know, I served in the Eisenhower administration as a people to people representative of the president, working under the Department of State. This is brought out only to emphasize an important warning or two that arose as General Eisenhower was leaving office. First he warned of the rising threat of a "military-industrial complex". Think for a moment what we have in America today.

Secondly, he warned about not allowing the forerunners of what we know as neocons, to lead us into a war in Viet Nam. A warning that wasn't even taken seriously as the Trotsky disciples convinced the Kennedy administration that war is really peace. It turned into an American tragedy.

One of the strategies of the neocons is to divide and lessen the power of the "consent of the governed". Part of their campaign has been to promote hatred between segments of American society. It's classic Trotsky. This has resulted in bringing together division in the religious community leading to a weakening of the basic morality that has been the centerpiece of our nation. Another divisive tactic has been the promotion and support of what has become known as political correctness, but more particularly encouraging hate-mongering by Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, the NAACP and the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Consider the aims of the Trilateralists. Would you think all these multi-nation treaties that the U. S. keeps getting involved in may be part of an agenda to diminish our national sovereignty? Do you think the depletion of our national wealth through an astronomical loss each month in the balance of trade is in our best interest? I beg you, look who supports these measures and you will find your neocons or their fellow travellers.

To say neocons are anti-Southern is an understatement. Southerners may be their worst enemy, but don't know it.

Comutarianism is but one of the elements of neocon influence in your local community. Don't think it isn't there. Most of your elected officials are cooperating one way or another. They deny being neocons, yet they support taking local farmland for big agribusiness, they are totally under the influence of one of the biggest lobbies in America, the pharaceutical industry, and they'll sell out your heritage in a heartbeat. Yet we have the age old problem, being against all those who participate in these activities but our own who is such a nice person and always responds to our calls or mail.
