Events taking place in the next two weeks or so right here in Georgia are crucial to the heritage movement in Georgia and throughout the United States.

If there ever was or will be a time for all of us to join together it is now. Losing the opportunities before us may mean losing all hope of restoring the honor of our inheritance and beginning the process of returning our state and nation to what our Founders set out to do.

What I'm addressing is not just the Georgia Heritage Council interests. It is a joint effort on behalf of the individuals of all the heritage organizations in Georgia. Each group of individuals is gearing up to do something that my grandfather, (and their ancestors did too) Hezekiah Davis, and other members of the 5th Virginia Infantry did at Manassas, Stand Like A Stone wall.

We have an opportunity to take control of those who would remove our Confederate symbols in the Augusta Riverwalk case which goes to court next week. This is a landmark case testing Georgia statutes which forbid the removal or descecration of Confederate military related symbols from public places.

The Georgia Heritage Council is the lead plaintiff in the case and we are joined by other discerning Georgians.

Will you be part of our Stone wall?

Now, I'll pass on to you the rest of the story, or at least as much as I can tell.

The fact is there is no hope through the current governor or the current legislature for a Fair Vote on our state flag.

We have the best state government money can buy. It's bought.

BUT, thanks to a very dedicated group of Southern patriots, all active in eight different organizations, you MAY have the opportunity to vote for a candidate for governor who supports having a fair and honest vote for the Georgia state flag.

You might say we're taking the matter into our own hands and we're planning to hold a referendum called the primary election for governor.

It's not official yet. The official word will come from the candidate himself.

To achieve that, we need the pledge of your help. We need our data base filled with folks from all over Georgia.

This may be our best and last opportunity to truly stand like a stone wall.

We can't hold the line unless we all join together and get others to join, too.
