Illegal Immigration: Failure to resist is acquiescence – Commentary by Jim Dean

Dear legal Americans,

The pro-illegal immigration movement is turning into an orgy (see the story below). This is all a set up of course. Anyone who publicly opposes special benefits for illegal aliens will of course be denounced as a racist to intimidate them into keeping their mouths shut. It is up to the rest of us to make sure that does not happen. Those on the front lines of our border, financial and cultural security deserve our 100% backup.

This is also a political battle, and a tough one, as the leaderships of both parties are in the clutches of the pro-illegal immigration camp. Their plan is that with nowhere for us to go, what can we do? The answer is simple. We need to concentrate on terminating the political careers of those on both sides who have broken their oaths to defend the country against all enemies foreign and domestic. It would not be a stretch to view some of them as having actually become enemies.

McCain and Kennedy have a horrible immigration phony reform bill in play that would again endorse the present trend toward complete social and cultural upheaval, with just a few minor alterations. The name of the game is going to be primary contests on both sides of the isle where we will have the opportunity to publicize their poor records on these critical issues.

But to pull that off we need to organize. If you have not joined the GHC database project give me a call. What are you waiting for? Do you think we can do this by ourselves? Do you think the Minuteman project will survive if new folks do not jump aboard? Do you want to just watch as American history and culture declines into a Jerry Springer show?

I'll put it straight to you. Non 'active' support is actually support for the other side. The former Russian Republic that was recently overthrown was possible because US intelligence bought off the secret service and they just stood by and watched. By their being neutralized they actually supported the takeover. Yet it was sold to us in the press as a 'people's revolt', but it was a NeoCon project all the way. They are stoking the fires for another cold war that will generate lots of money for the smart crowd, for decades and decades.

If you don't resist, you are acquiescing in what is happening. The pro-illegal immigration people consider you a supporter. Think about that. You may view yourself as anti-illegal immigration, but if you don't really do anything about it, is that really who you are?

Low Interest Loans for Illegal Aliens Approved

In a 15-4 vote, Madison City Council members approved providing illegal immigrants with low interest home loans. Alderperson Zach Brandon added a substitute motion. Under the proposal any undocumented worker applying for a low interest loan needs to provide a federal identification. This would prove the applicant pays social security, even though they may never receive it.

Wisconsin's housing authority, or WHEDA, is the first state in the nation to implement a program offering low interest loans to illegal aliens, or 'undocumented workers'. Now some Madison alders want the City to implement a similar program. Madison's program would allow the approved applicants to get a low interest loan for up to 95% of the home cost. Other low income residents can get 100% of the cost of a home financed with a Community Development Block Grant through the city.

'In a very real way with the modern economy, immigrants are here to stay and I think we ought to be supporting then in trying to live good lives for themselves and their families.' Says Austin King. He supports the proposal because he says it's not about immigration, it's about helping people, and illegal immigrants work low paying jobs, pay taxes through a federal ID number, but are not eligible for any benefits, like social security.

But State Senator Glenn Grothman of West Bend says the idea is 'almost comical'. He says it's absurd to offer assistance to people who are in the country illegally. 'What type of message are we sending to people?' He says. 'We're telling the border guards we don't appreciate their job. We're telling the people that inspect local business that we don't care what they do. We're telling anybody who is waiting to get into this country legally that they're a bunch of suckers for trying to obey the law. It's absolutely comical.'

Grothman has authored legislation that would force WHEDA to stop granting the loans. He says he is considering adding an amendment that would also ban cities from Madison from offering them as well.
