DO YOU HEAR THAT TRAIN WHISTLE? – Commentary by Jim Dean
"I believe that we probably have lost the culture war. That doesn't mean the war is not going to continue,
and that it isn't going to be fought on other fronts. But in terms of society in general, we have lost. This is why, even when we win in politics, our
victories fail to translate into the kind of policies we believe are important.
Therefore, what seems to me a legitimate strategy for us to follow is to look at ways to separate ourselves
from the institutions that have been captured by the ideology of Political Correctness, or by other enemies of our traditional culture."

The founding Americans came here to separate themselves, too. They forged a new country, a new form of government, and a
new culture. That culture and government (or rather it was the limited nature of that government) was the envy of the world for many until our civil war, when old admirers watched with horror as the
noble experiment fell victim to old Europe's economic wars. It ended with a centralized government, federal taxes, and a new imperialist state. The
original American nation died with that war. We have gone through several versions since.
But as Mr. Weyrich's article explains, it is still dying. All that we sought to escape has come home to roost.
Non-involvement in foreign affairs has turned into preemptive strikes. Special interest groups plot how to bring the third world here, make our major
religion an underground one, all the while exporting 'American democracy,' and unseating the original racial majority at home. Resistance to this heartland ethnic cleansing gets
labeled as a racist attitude, an Orwellian '1984' concept. Anyone with half a brain could take a look at a lot of what we are selling and decide they
don't want any.
I ran across this article just
today. Maybe Paul is still fighting a holding action. We surely are down here in the South where
ethnic cleansing has become a blood sport.
Traditional Southerners are walking around wearing a new variation of the 'Jewish star,' waiting for the notice to go to the train station. We are
being separated, marked and classified by outside forces. It's a war, folks, and losing is not going to be pleasant for us or our kids.
But where are we to go when they have brought the war upon us? Where can the Boy Scouts go? The Ten
Commandments? Or traditional marriage...or our old jobs and futures? Were not these things worth fighting for? The Republicans won, but are we
really much better off? Are they going to turn this process around or just hand out a few lucky passes? And to whom?
While the Southern Poverty Law Center thinks that secession is somehow a bad thing, it has been supporting
our 'separation' with all of their resources. They are using different weapons, but their goal is the same...to eliminate traditional America and replace
it with something more to their liking, something they can control. And how do we react? Not like someone who is on a round-up list. Not like someone
being prodded through a cattle gate. We act like it's not really happening.
Our troops and treasure are going to 'protect us' overseas, when we really need those resources back home to
fight the real fight, the one we are losing. We need every man and every dollar. Iraq can wait its turn. We come first...in my mind anyway.
Hear that train whistle? All aboard!
