WHERE is the OUTRAGE? – Commentary by Frank Gillispie
Where is the outrage? Where are the protestors? Where are the angry
voices of the pundits? Where is even the "fair and balanced" coverage of
a most grievous verbal assault against all white people by a Black
Professor of African Studies?
When Dr. Kaman Kambon, Visiting Professor of African Studies at
University of North Carolina at Wilmington, declared on C-span that all white
people ought to be exterminated, the media not only did not object,
they never even reported the event.
Kambon, or what ever his real name is, made the comment at a symposium
at Howard University in Washington D.C. on the subject of press
coverage of Hurricane Katrina. On October 14. Video of the symposium, and
Kambon's comments, can be downloaded from the C-span web site.
He said that white people are trying to kill blacks, that all white
people are slave masters, and that there is only way to solve the
problem.
"We have to exterminate white people off the face of the planet to
solve this problem," he declared.
He continued to push the idea, suggesting that only one topic ought to
be on the minds of blacks today.
"And the one idea is, how we are going to exterminate white people
because that in my Estimation is the only conclusion I have come to."
While Kambon's statement was greeted with only a scattering of
applause, no one at Howard University, or on the platform, condemned the
statement. The organizer of the symposium did finally offer words of
condemnation when questioned by an internet news service.
"I organized the Pro-Black Media Forum where Dr. Kamau Kambon made the
comments about exterminating all whites while on CSPAN," Opio Sokoni
acknowledged to World Net Daily. "No one could have ever known that this
former North Carolina State University professor would go off the cuff
and make such immoral and unproductive remarks.
A few weeks ago when former Secretary of Education suggested that the
nation?s crime rate would go down if all black babies were aborted, he
was greeted with waves of outrage. Even though with his next breath,
he himself condemned the idea.
Bennett resigned as chairman of a school supply company a week after
saying on his radio show last month that "if you wanted to reduce crime
... you could abort every black baby in this country."
He was responding to a comment from a caller on his show who had
suggested abortion as a crime control method.
Seconds later, Bennett who is a strong opponent of all abortion
programs, called that suggestion "an impossible, ridiculous and morally
reprehensible thing to do, but your crime rate would go down. So these
far-out, these far-reaching, extensive extrapolations are, I think, tricky."
No matter that he was reporting someone else?s ideas and personally
condemned them, he was subjected to heavy criticism.
But when Dr. Kamau Kambon called for the extermination of the entire
white race, no body in the mainstream media bothered to respond or even
report his comments. Only members of the "alternative" media took note
of this radical comment.
So where are they? Where are the protestors? Where are the pundits?
Where is the District Attorney who ought to be bringing charges of
terroristic threats? Where are the Congressional Committees who ought to
have this terrorist in testifying before them?
There is no excuse for ignoring this radical racists and his anti-white
diatribe. So why is he being ignored?
